Facelift without Surgery

As a facial aesthetics specialist, I’m always looking for new, non-invasive ways to combat the signs of ageing and bring youthful looks back to those you are young at heart. And of course, one of the most popular ways to rejuvenate and tighten your skin has always been a face lift. But this a major surgery, and I wanted to find a way to bring all those benefits to my clients, without the scalpels and needles. That’s when I discovered chemical peels.

Chemical Peels

This treatment gently removes the layers of old dead skin on your face, neck or décolletage, giving it a supple, firm feel. As we get older, your body loses its ability to produce collagen, which is what keeps our skin elastic and smooth. A chemical peel harnesses the power of naturally occurring acids, combined with active ingredients to deeply exfoliate, tighten and brighten the skin. The treatment stimulates new cell growth and collagen production, helping to reveal fresher, clearer, brighter skin. A non-surgical face lift is perfect for the treatment of fine lines, acne, sun damage, hyper-pigmentation, deep wrinkles, saggy skin, crow’s feet. When combined with other treatments like Botox and dermal fillers, you can get the effect of a full rejuvenating face lift, without the invasive surgery.

How Do Chemical Peels Work?

A chemical peel is probably the most involved and time consuming of my services, in that there will be some ‘down time’ after you have it done. During the session I will cleanse your skin and apply the facelift solution to your skin. You won’t notice an instant difference, but gradually you’ll see your skin transform. Over the next few days and weeks, the older layers of your skin will start to flake off, leaving the bright, healthier layers underneath visible. This can take anywhere from a few days to six weeks for deeper peels, and at the end your skin will go back to its normal appearance, but brighter, softer and clearer than before. There are several different types of chemical peel, from light applications to deeper working options, and specific formulas to treat different skin types and problems.

Get In Touch

Of course, different kinds of skin will need different kinds of peel, which is why I recommend a consultation before you go ahead with one. During your consultation, I will be able to explain the process and identify the problem areas of your skin, which will help me decide which peel is right for you.
